Breath & Sound Immersion in Art

We are delighted to begin a new monthly meditation series at Galeri Bosfor, Istanbul, where art and embodied awareness meet.

Each month, we will gather around a different artist and exhibition, creating a shared experience that weaves together exhibition viewing, sound meditation, and breathwork.

Our first session takes place on 25 February, within Neslihan Başer’s exhibition “Residual Warmth” (Kalan Sıcaklık).

Başer’s practice explores the porous relationship between memory, time, and bodily experience through textile, repetition, rhythm, and touch. Her works invite us into a slower, more attentive perception of time — where memory is not fixed, but felt, sensed, and reawakened.

Inspired by this atmosphere, the evening will center on the theme:

“Connecting with Roots”

An exploration of grounding, belonging, and the subtle warmth carried through memory, body, and lineage.
